    Episode summary
Miles Crawford, a former movie star, is now a successful attorney. When his young son Tod is charged with first degree murder, he hires the best criminal lawyer, then convinces Tod that he should represent him at trial. His closing argument is an impassioned performance, bringing applause from spectators. Then the judge calls the attorneys into his chambers. The prosecutor discovered that Miles gave the identical speech in a movie, and the movie is replayed in camera, including the closing scene when the boy is executed. The jury finds Tod guilty.

    Fun and viewer review
Nope, this was written under the Hollywood studio system in 1938. It's called "Angels With Dirty Faces."Check out these stats: A "gangster" genre picture. Made at Warner Brothers, directed by Michael Curtiz (Casabanca), acted by--get this--Cagney, O'Brien, Bogart and Sheridan. All aspects of this film were made at their peak. Just try and put that cast together outside of this time and place. Cagney will rip your heart out. I can't believe Hitch put his name to this TV rip-off. Compare endings.
